PRE WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT – PERRYGROVE RAILWAY, FOREST OF DEAN, GLOUCESTERSHIRE

I must admit this was session I have been planning and wanting to do for a long time! A pre-wedding photoshoot at Perrygrove Railway in the Forest of Dean.

Perrygrove Railway is one of my favourite places to capture memories, whether it is a wedding, a family day out, an event or images for Perrygrove’s website. The staff always make me (and everyone else) feel very welcome, they are happy to help and go out of their way to make sure everyone has a good time.

This particular pre-wedding session was very special for so many reasons. Victoria and Samuel both have worked at Perrygrove, driving the trains and have a special relationship with the owners – Katherine and David. Also, the day of our session was meant to have been their wedding day – sadly this was postponed due to coronavirus until next year.

With a train at our disposal for the afternoon, a champagne cream tea and lots of insider knowledge of the best spots for photos, the session was everything I hoped for and more. To finish we visited the church where Victoria and Samuel will say “I do”, capturing a few memories of what should have been their wedding day.

Their wedding next year, I am certain will be filled with so much love and happiness and is definitely one I shall be looking forward to capturing.
